Outdoor bronze in high desert sun and monsoon rain does not stay the way the artist left it. We take the corrosion, the streaking and the failed wax off — and leave the patina, the tool marks and the foundry stamps exactly where they are.
The patina is the artwork
A patina is a chemical finish the artist chose and the foundry applied. Abrasive blasting takes it off and it never comes back the same. Chemical strippers soak into porous stone and keep working after you leave. A tuned pulse removes what sits on top of the patina and stops there.
Every parameter is dialed in first
Paint, corrosion and stone each have a different ablation threshold — the energy density where they start to vaporize. We set power, pulse and focus above the threshold of what is coming off and below the threshold of what is staying on. That window is found on a test patch, on your piece, before any production work starts.
The work comes to the piece
Large outdoor bronzes should not be crated and shipped to a studio if they do not have to be. The whole rig travels and runs off its own generator, so a sculpture garden with no power outlet within two hundred feet is still a normal working site.
Nothing is left behind
No grit to sweep out of a sculpture garden. No chemical runoff into the beds. No masking, no containment tenting, no water. The residue is vapor, and it goes into the fume extractor.

Straight answers
When laser is the wrong tool.
Laser is not a universal solvent and we would rather tell you that now than after you have paid a mobilisation fee. It does not fill, fair or rebuild anything — it is a cleaning process, not a repair process. It is slower per square foot than blasting on large plain surfaces, so on a 40-foot run of ordinary steel fence, blasting is genuinely the better buy.
Some stone will darken or roughen if the parameters are wrong, which is exactly why every job starts with a test patch in an inconspicuous spot and nobody proceeds until you have looked at it.
